Brandon Cousineau
Lead Pastor
Brandon began serving as the lead pastor of Encounter in April 2020. He is a passionate preacher and constantly exploring new ways to reach the people of Amherstburg. Brandon is happily married to his wife, Nancy, and is the father of two energetic boys, Logan & Elliot. He is a lover of good food and often draws on that affection in his sermon illustrations. Brandon is so excited to be a part of God's Kingdom work in the town of Amherstburg.
Kevin Saunders
Associate Pastor
Starting in April 2024 Pastor Kevin brings to our team over 30 years of pastoral ministry experience. Kevin’s main passions in ministry are music and worship along with missions and outreach and he’s excited to plug those passions into our church family at Encounter. Kevin is married to his beautiful wife Paula who often joins with him in music and outreach ministry, and he is the father of 2 adult girls Jordyn and Taylor, and he is a soon to be a 1st time grandpa.
Daniella Coombe
Children's Pastor
Daniella has been leading in children's ministry since 2017 when she got her start as a summer student, and currently serves on staff as our Children’s Ministries Pastor. She is passionate about providing quality children's ministry for families in our community and is incredibly gifted in photography. Daniella walks closely with the Lord and is excited about the future of Encounter and to see families encounter the grace of Jesus.
Mark Dunseith
Youth Pastor
Mark has begun leading the SR. High Ministry as of March 2024. He is a friendly and approachable person who is passionate about teaching Biblical themes in a practical and applicational way to the youth of today. Mark is happily newlywed to his lovely wife Leighann. He takes every chance he can to partake in his passion for fishing and being out in nature. Mark is so excited to see what God has in store for the Youth of Amhurstburg.
Karen Legault
Church Administrator
Karen has been serving on staff at Encounter since 2008. She loves to see how God changes people and ignites a passion in them to love and serve others as He commands us to! She and her husband, Jeff, have been married for 26 years and have three wonderful children, Adam, Derek & Amanda. Karen loves sports, exercising, family time and playing with her dogs!
